Weighing just 1230 g, the new version of the 3-person FreeLite is one of the lightest on the market. Dome-shaped and semi-self-supporting, this weight saving has not been achieved at the expense of comfort. The MSR FreeLite 3 remains spacious (superifice of 3.6 m²) with an interior height of 1.09 m. This means you can sit in your tent without feeling cramped. As for materials, the rain fly and floor are made of 15-denier nylon. These are Durashield-treated for 1200 m waterproofing. The micromesh inner fabric provides good ventilation and prevents condensation. Finally, the hoops are made of DAC NFL, an aluminum with a reputation for strength and durability.

The MSR FreeLite 3 tent has 2 doors and 2 apses, making access easier. Each apse has a surface area of 0.7 m² for overnight storage. The zippers are sturdy and easy to use with just one hand. The interior features a number of storage compartments, including hanging and non-hanging pockets for your smartphone or other small accessories.
