Jim and Joy, an American hiking couple, were looking for a lightweight table that would enable them to eat, cook or play cards on unstable ground. Having found no solution that met their needs, Jim decided to build his own model. Thus was born the Cascade Wild Ultralight Table. This mini-table weighs just 63 g and can support a load of 4.5 kg. Space-saving, it folds flat for easy storage in a backpack. It measures just 30.5 cm long, 4 cm wide and 2 cm thick.

Made from corrugated plastic, the Cascade Wild mini bivouac table is waterproof, stain-resistant and boil-proof should you accidentally spill your popote. It doesn't require a storage bag and is easy to clean with a damp cloth. What's more, it features snap-fasteners that allow you to attach several of them together, giving you a larger surface area. This comes in handy if you're hiking with a group or family.

Tip: by turning it upside down, you can use it as a tray, thanks to its edges. Practical if you're eating in your tent.
