The Exos Pro 55 is a backpack designed by Osprey for hiking and backpacking. It is the evolution of the Levity 45, the American brand's previous ultralight version. Larger, the Exos Pro offers a 55-liter capacity. This volume can be adjusted as the hat is modular. So, if you don't need all that space, you can dispense with the 9 liters of the hat to obtain a final version of 46 liters, closer to that of the Levity.

Weighing in at 980 g, the Osprey Exos Pro 55 backpack nevertheless boasts a sturdy frame and hip belt for excellent load distribution. The shoulder straps, waistband and back length are adjustable. Perfect for adjusting to your body shape. Talking of the back, it's made of a stretched mesh that creates a space between your back and the bag for better ventilation.

The fastening system consists of a drawstring. You then close the hat with the hook-and-loop fasteners. Without the hat, a flap with buckle is available. The main compartment has space for a water pouch. The hose then passes through a small hole in the upper back.

In terms of storage space, you'll find an external pocket on the hat, two pockets on the hip belt, one of which is zipped, two mesh pockets on the sides for water bottle and/or water bottle, as well as a front pocket. The latter offers quick access to a waterproof jacket, a freeze-dried meal or a headlamp.

In terms of materials, Osprey has opted for lightness. The bottom and body of the bag are made of 100-denier nylon. To prolong its life, you'll need to be careful about the surfaces on which you place it. 400-denier inserts reinforce the bag. All materials are bluesign® approved, a label whose aim is to reduce impact on people and the environment.
