The Therm-A-Rest Vesper 32F/0C quilt is ultra lightweight. This quilt for adventurers is filled with moisture-treated goose feathers. As a result, you'll make a cozy nest in the wilderness during your trek with a quilt whose loft will last 60 times longer than untreated down.
This Vesper comforter can be used down to 0°C, ideally at 5°C for a good night's sleep after a hard day's work. Ultra-light, it weighs in at 435g for the Regular model and 490g for the Large model. The Therm-a-Rest Vesper quilt takes up very little space when stored in its compression bag and storage bag. Equipped with SynergyLink connectors, the quilt can be combined with an insulating mattress to retain heat. These removable fasteners go all the way around your mattress, preventing drafts. For optimum protection, a snap closes the collar and reinforced insulation is placed at the feet. Less covering than a traditional sleeping bag, you won't be sausaged (if you don't use the fasteners).
This comforter comes in handy for skippers when sailing between maneuvers. You'll have no trouble getting out of bed! And when you're done, you'll want to get back into the warmth, thanks to the ThermaCapture lining at the top of the comforter, which captures the heat radiating from your body.
Therm-a-Rest's Vesper 0°C (32°F equivalent) is also ideal for hiking. Use it in addition to a sleeping bag for winter expeditions, or as a sleeping bag replacement for treks and bivouacs in milder weather.
This Vesper 32F / 0C comforter from outdoor brand Therm-a-Rest is :
- Ultra-light compared to a sleeping bag
- A comfort temperature of 5°C
- Made of goose feather (900 cuin loft) with hydrophobic treatment and mesh inserts to maximize loft and limit heat loss at certain points.
Goose feathers are responsibly farmed according to the Responsible Down Standard, guaranteeing that birds are treated humanely.

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but it looks great. (Translated review)
really happy, even when it's hot, it breathes well.despite that, it stays warm when it cools down.two small downsides though, one for term-a-rest and one for Lyophilise.fr:- for term-a-rest, the ties to go under a mattress hold really well, but a bit too much, I had a really hard time removing them (I use a hammock and an under quilt).- as for Lyophilise.fr, just the name of the model is "Long" not "Large" and it's much more telling when it comes to the difference, it's the length that changes, not the width. Tested in the Pyrenees at an altitude of 1000m, I didn't feel the cold with very light underpants and top, all in 100 Denier merino, plus an R-Value mattress of 4.5.Compact, doesn't take up much space when compressed. (Translated review)
