What's more, this comforter is made from Nikwax Hydrophobic Down (PFC-free), which absorbs 90% less moisture and dries 3 times faster. It also has a 650 cuin loft, which reduces its volume. Ideal for slipping the quilt into a backpack without losing too much space!

You can also connect your quilt to your mattress for even greater efficiency and optimized comfort. No draught can get inside, thanks to an all-round partitioned bead and a collar with snap fasteners.

When you first open the bag, you wonder whether Thermarest has smoked the duck feathers instead of putting them in the product. Don't hesitate to give the bag a good shake so that the feathers regain their volume and are well distributed in the compartments. The product is lightweight, and the compression house saves an enormous amount of space compared with the storage bag. I already had a Thermarest mattress, so I bought the sheet that connects the bag to the mattress, allowing me to move around without getting uncovered in the night. The snap fastener at the top is practical, even for sleeping on your stomach, allowing you to make a hood while keeping an opening to breathe. The plumes give a good feeling of warmth, but I have my doubts about comfort at 0 degrees, as I wasn't able to test at that temperature. I think that the comfort temperature given takes into account the fact that, having more space inside, the sleeper is expected to be more clothed than in a conventional sleeping bag.
