The Light My Fire adventure began over 20 years ago in Sweden. Its first product was a firelighter made from softwood, a quick and easy way to start a fire. It was a flop. Consumers didn't understand the new product, and the Swedish brand ran out of money to market it.

Rather than give up, Michael Odqvist, creator of Light My Fire, and his team continued to innovate, developing a match that could light a fire in any weather, at any altitude. The success was immediate, and the history of the Swedish brand was underway.

Since then, Light My Fire has established itself as a specialist in small equipment for hiking, trekking, camping and survival. Design, functionality and quality made in Sweden.
