Labeled with the “Certified Space Technology” seal, these ice creams, made in the USA, are enjoyed by astronauts in space during various NASA missions. Reality or clever marketing? One thing is certain—they captivate kids and adults alike, inspiring dreams of reaching for the stars. We couldn’t resist introducing them to you!

Once you open the aluminum packaging, there’s another paper wrapper inside with perforated edges.

As you can see in the photos above, the ice creams arrive slightly broken. It doesn’t affect the flavor, but it seems consistent—whether purchased online or elsewhere, the ice creams tend to crack during transport.

Flavor

At the first bite (yes, you can bite into this ice cream!), the texture of the “Mint Chocolate Chip” or “Neapolitan” varieties feels like slightly hard meringue.

But the magic happens within seconds... the piece of freeze-dried ice cream melts in your mouth.
