MSR LowDown is a remote stove adapter. Its purpose is simple: to provide stability for your gas stove. This accessory is aimed at two types of outdoor enthusiast: those who cook on steep terrain, and those who cook with large pots and pans. In both cases, you'll need a fixed stove to prevent your food from falling to the ground.

The MSR LowDown is very easy to use. Simply screw one side to your cartridge and the other to your stove. It's quick and compatible with all EN 417 gas stoves, such as Primus, Jetboil, Optimus and of course MSR.
Please note, however, that this accessory is not compatible with duo stoves such as Primus' Essential Trail Duo.
So, even if you have a small, ultra-light stove (PocketRocket 2, BRS 3000T...), you'll still be able to cook for a group with a large stove.
Another advantage of the MSR LowDown is flame adjustment. The valve is located on the cartridge, not under the stove. So there's less risk of burning yourself. As for its compactness, you can fold up the legs to save space in your hiking backpack.

You have to admit it's very well finished, solid, but for a 100 and 230gr gas, OK for a 450gr, the connection is just right, and like on my Polaris, it could have made the nozzle swivel, because with an adapter I can use it to troubleshoot a Primagaz cz250. So for a Pocket2 Deluxe perfect with 100 and 230gr for the 450 gr you have to be careful. (Translated review)
