The name dahl, which can also be written dal, dhal or daal, designates, in India, dried or broken legumes. Over time, it has also become the name of this Indian dish often made with lentils.
Recipes often vary, each one bringing its own touch. Lise Di Giulio, a Breton cook who founded the Nomad's Kitchen brand, has composed her recipe for lentils, sweet potatoes, coconut milk and spices. A blend rich in flavour that will delight your taste buds.
Packaged in a compact and light airtight bag, this sterilized meal can be kept for 1 year at room temperature. It is easily transportable, whether in a backpack, a van or a boat. This dish, heavier than a freeze-dried meal, does not need to be rehydrated. All you have to do is warm it up.
It will be perfect for a day trip, an offshore race, a road trip in a van or lunch at work (construction site, office, truck...).
Green lentil dahl is:
- A vegetarian and 100% natural canned dish
- No preservatives, gluten or lactose
- A shelf life of 1 year at room temperature
