This sachet contains a recipe for beef and potato stew. This is a freeze-dried recipe prepared with vegetables (onions, lentils, rutabaga, carrots, etc.), potatoes and pieces of beef.
This dish is prepared by Expedition Foods, an English brand of high-energy freeze-dried products.
Beef and Potato Stew can be rehydrated directly in the sachet with hot water, or with cold water if you don't have a stove to hand. Note that the rehydration time in this case will be longer. Quite handy on long journeys, when you can't take a stove with you.
