Description

For the record, this dish originated in Lisbon and was cooked by a tavern-keeper named Brás. Bacalhau means "cod" in our language, so Bacalhau à Brás means Cod à Blaise.

Real Turmat's recipe takes this Portuguese specialty and features cod, potatoes, onions, tomatoes and peppers. It is first cooked from ingredients before being freeze-dried. This preserves the flavors and nutrients of the food.

This freeze-dried meal provides over 400 kcal and, above all, comfort after a day's hiking or ocean racing. Ready in less than 10 minutes, it's compact and light before rehydration, so it can be carried without weighing down your backpack.

Bacalhau at Brás de Real Turmat is :
- A freeze-dried meal ideal for trekking, mountaineering or the Marathon des Sables.
- Designed by Real Turmat, a renowned brand of freeze-dried meals
- Packaged in a resealable sachet with a water line for water dosage
