Description

This canned tuna salad is made by Peny in Brittany. Packaged in a 300g metal tray, it's ultra-convenient, allowing you to heat up the meal in no time (8 minutes on your stove or in a bain-marie), or to eat directly from the tray without having to carry an extra plate or bowl.

In fact, the French Army makes no mistake about it, as these meals are part of military rations. From now on, you too can enjoy them at Lyophilise & Co and stock up, as these sterilized recipes can be stored at room temperature and are perfectly stackable.

I tasted this salad a long time ago during my military service, when the dish was already part of French army rations. I didn't hesitate for a moment to order from Lyophilisé. It's a great idea to offer the Peny brand: it's hearty and you can add other fresh vegetables (depending on your taste). The portion is just right, with a large piece of tuna, but some may find the taste a little bland, so think about adding some spices.
