Sawyer Mini is one of the world's lightest filtration systems. Just 37 g for the filter and 86 g for the whole kit, which also includes a reusable 0.5L bag, a straw and a syringe for cleaning the filter. It's also compact, fitting into the palm of your hand. In other words, it won't clutter up your backpack. You can even stow it in a pocket.

Thanks to its hollow-fiber membrane filtration system (0.1 micron), the Sawyer Mini water filter retains bacteria (such as salmonella) and protozoa (E. coli...) and makes your water drinkable. This makes it an ideal hiking accessory. Rather than overloading your pack with water, refill the water pouch as soon as you're near a watering hole (lake, river, etc.). In addition to its lightness and efficiency, the Sawyer Mini water filter is also renowned for its extremely long service life. It is effective for 375,000 liters of water. It will accompany you on many trips and expeditions.
