Description

The Opinel No. 8 knife has been in production for 130 years, and has been the Savoyard brand's benchmark knife for 130 years. Recognizable thanks to its magnificent design, the iconic knife is marketed in a black version.

Its oak handle is insect and fungus resistant, thanks to its high tannin content. The wood comes from French farms and is then varnished to protect it from humidity and dirt. The 8.5 cm-long matt black blade is made of black stainless steel. More resistant than a conventional stainless steel blade, it remains more sensitive to the risk of scratches. It is therefore recommended not to use abrasive products to clean it, such as a sponge.

Easy to maintain and very sharp, this Opinel knife is very useful for your bivouacs, hikes and outdoor activities.
