This thinly sliced biltong from family-owned English brand Ember is inspired by South African recipes for dried meats.
A typical South African recipe, Ember biltong is made from beef. It is first dried before being cut into thin slices. It's ultra-rich in protein, making it a popular snack for athletes. Each 25 g portion contains 12 g of protein. It is ideally consumed after intense physical effort, but can also be enjoyed during exercise.
The sachet is compact and lightweight. It fits easily into a backpack without weighing it down. Take biltong with you on your mountain expeditions and enjoy it as a snack or even as an aperitif.
The meat comes from Irish and British beef. No sugar is added to the recipe, and it's gluten-free.
Ember's beef jerky is :
-12 g of protein per serving
-Great taste
-Ideal during or after exercise

Already tasted, it's good and not too salty. Keep it in a bag just in case ... long date and even if you exceed the best-before date. (Translated review)
