This recipe is inspired by Russian cuisine and can be enjoyed by two around a campfire, or on its own in extreme conditions, such as extreme cold. In addition to its highly appreciated taste, this beef stroganoff prepared by Expedition Foods, an English brand, will provide you with an important source of energy in terms of lipids.
In fact, this high-calorie freeze-dried meal (1000 per portion) is very rich in lipids and carbohydrates, two essential fuels for outdoor activity. What's more, the recipe contains only 100% natural ingredients. After rehydration, you get a generous 720 g portion, or 360 g per serving if you wish to share.

Beef stroganoff double portion is :
- A freeze-dried meal, also available in a large 800 kcal format, to enjoy on its own if you're a big eater.
- A practical zip-open bag! Once rehydrated, you can slip it into your rucksack and eat it whenever you like (where there's a great view of your itinerary, for example).
- You can rehydrate it with cold water if you can't produce hot water; however, the rehydration time is much longer (at least twice as long).

preparation method
Remove the oxygen absorber inside the pouch. Add 550ml of boiling water. Mix the contents and close the pouch. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to rehydrate. (Cold water will suffice, however, the rehydration time is much longer).
