The Tactical version of the BeFree Katadyn 1-liter filter and flexible water bottle has the same properties as the BeFree filter, but in an even stronger bottle.
The latter is made by Hydrapak. Its material remains sufficiently flexible and can be flattened by air vacuum to slip into your backpack.
The Kataydn BeFree Tactical weighs just 73 g and has a flow rate just as high as the classic, with 2 liters of potabilized water per minute. That's what appeals to outdoor enthusiasts, and why it's one of the best-sellers in the water filtration category.

Its lightness and format make this water filter an essential item for all EDC-type bags. In a small backpack for a 3 to 4-day hike, this filter may suffice.
