The Alpinist 2 System is a cooking kit manufactured by MSR.
It contains :
- 1 2.4 L anodized aluminum saucepan
- 1 lid-pasteur- 1 retractable Talon™ pan handle
- 2 x 0.75 L DeepDish™ plates
- 2 double-walled 0.3 L cups to prevent scalding
Each utensil nests together for optimal space-saving.
The other major advantage of this kitchen kit is its weight. At just 630g, the Alpinist 2 System is ideal for outdoor activities such as trekking, bikepacking, bivouacking, mountaineering and climbing.
The cooker can be used to melt snow, heat coffee or water for freeze-dried or sterilized meals.
