Description

The MSR MiniWorks EX is reliable, high-performance and designed for intensive use. Its Marathon™ ceramic filter with activated carbon is easy to clean and effective in turbid or even muddy water. It eliminates over 99.9% of bacteria and protozoa and reduces taste and unpleasant odors.

Its autonomy is 2000 liters. In other words, the MSR MiniWorks EX is equally suited to hikers, adventurers and humanitarians.
Compact and lightweight (around 450 g), this filter works thanks to its AirSpring Accumulator™ pump. To make the water drinkable, simply attach the MiniWorks EX to your hydration system (Nalgene bottle, Hydrapak water pouch...) and pump. It's quick and easy. In just one minute, you'll have filtered a liter of water.

What's the difference with a filtering straw or flask?
As mentioned above, the MSR MiniWorks EX filter is effective even in the murkiest, most turbid waters. This is because it has a ceramic filter, unlike straws which, although lighter and more compact, have a filter that is more suited to filtering clear, non-drinking water.
