I still recommend reheating it to enjoy it even more. For the next one, I'll try it with a self-heating bag. (Translated review)
And no, you're not in a restaurant, but in a bivouac at 2000m or in your anchorage, and it's bliss. (Translated review)
Correct but rather bland (Translated review)
Well, the price is right and the analabe is all terrain. But for backpack portions there's a problem, the cakes are 5cm by 5cm and the packaging is 30cm, which takes up a lot of dead space. For a first try it's pretty good. (Translated review)
It's not bad overall I tested it and for something that keeps for several years it's passable. But just the photo is wrong so too bad .. (Translated review)
There's a simple pleasure in hiking: knowing that sweet comfort awaits us during the hard times. I hadn't originally planned to order this product, having only taken freeze-dried and not vacuum-packed, but when two of the products I'd ordered turned out to be unavailable, I made arrangements with the super freeze-dried team to receive these two vacuum-packed tatin instead. The first thing you notice compared to freeze-dried is of course the difference in weight: in fact, it made such a difference that we ate these tarts on the second day of the trek, even though we were saving them for my birthday, which fell in the middle of the trip. Obviously, this is a remark specific to hiking and doesn't apply in all cases... In terms of visual tasting, our pies had unfortunately taken quite a beating in our bags (one much more than the other), but hey, it's far from important.I can't really judge the cookie either, as the way the pies were crushed in our backpacks, it didn't really have any texture left.In terms of taste, we were both surprised by the very, very sweetness of the tart. In my opinion, it lacked a little acidity. I would have added cinnamon, but knowing that it's not a taste that appeals to everyone, it's a wise choice (and the problem could be quickly solved by carrying a little cinnamon with you).Apart from these minor concerns, the freshness of the products is a welcome change from freeze-dried, and it's very well prepared.
