Optimus Vega remote gas stove

Unlike traditional stoves where the gas cartridge has to be screwed on, the Optimus Vegal stove works with a remote gas cartridge. This makes it more versatile than a conventional gas stove.

Why choose a remote gas stove?
The advantage of remote gas stoves is that they work in all weathers, and are just as effective whether it's -20°C or +30°C. So if you're a lover of 4-season bivouacs or high-altitude trekking, the Optimus Vega stove will suit you perfectly.

How do I use the Optimus Vega stove?
There are two ways to use the Vega stove. For outdoor activity in normal conditions, the cartridge stands upright. In three minutes, you can boil 1 liter of water. On the other hand, if the temperature is low, the cartridge is almost empty or you want to speed up cooking, you can optimize the stove's operation by turning the cartridge upside down.
The Vega is equipped with a tripod to stabilize your gas cartridge. Gas injection will then be liquid.

What are its features?
To begin with, the Optimus Vega remote gas stove is lightweight and compact. Weighing just 178 g, it also takes up very little space and folds in on itself. In terms of operation, it features an adjustment tap to manage flame power. This allows you to set the rapid cooking mode if you wish to boil water, or to have a reduced flame for more refined cooking.
In addition, the fact that the gas cartridge is offset allows the stove to have a lower center of gravity. This makes the Optimus Vega perfect for cooking with a large saucepan or even a frying pan.
