Chemical filtration

Chemical water filters should be part of any travel kit, whether for hydration or even brushing your teeth. They should be used in clear water, after which you can hydrate after 30 minutes to 2 hours of contact. The chemical treatments used are:

Hadex Water Desinfectant by Care Plus, made with Chlorine, eliminates bacteria; 1 drop is enough in a glass of water (0.2 liters). For maximum safety in turbid and highly turbid waters, you can complement chemical treatments with a pump or gravity water filter.
