Beef jerky is naturally high in protein and low in fat. This 90 g serving provides over 50 g of protein and less than 6 g of fat. With less than 2.3% sugars, Indiana Beef Jerky is ideal for long-distance exercise, recovery or after a busy day. It's also an excellent choice for night-time cruising: since sugary products can cause blood sugar levels to spike, jerky ticks all the right boxes at night.
A good satiety index
Unlike biltong, jerky is made by slicing a piece of beef into strips, then marinating and drying them, giving it a firmer texture and, thanks to its high protein content, a greater feeling of satiety.
A salty, spicy snack to break the monotony of sugar
The 90-gram portion is salted to improve preservation (allow for approximately minus 3 g of Dead Sea salt). To avoid excess salt, we recommend limiting consumption. However, during exercise, the presence of salt in this product encourages water intake, which can be beneficial for those who tend to neglect their hydration and need to compensate for salt loss through perspiration.
