The Maven 55 is the women's equivalent of the Paragon 58. The chest straps don't crush the chest, the hip belt is wider and the back length is reduced. All three parts of the backpack can be adjusted to suit your body type.

The rest of the backpack features the same functionalities. The breathable 3D foam back features the FreeFloat suspension system. Dynamic soft panels follow the body's natural movements.
In addition, the mesh waistband hugs the hips, providing excellent load distribution and reducing wearer fatigue.

The Maven 55 can be opened in several ways. Once the hat is up, simply loosen the strap to gain access to the bag's contents. If you're looking for a piece of equipment that sits in the middle of the bag, a side zip means you don't have to unpack everything.
Finally, a third zip is located at the bottom of the bag, allowing quick access to items stored at the bottom, such as the sleeping bag.

Weighing in at 1,550 g, the Gregory Maven 55 hiking backpack can support 22.7 kg thanks to its steel alloy frame. The body of the bag is made of 100 denier nylon, and certain parts, including the bottom, have even been reinforced with 210D nylon. A raincover is included, located in the inside pocket of the hat for quick and easy access. A small loop allows you to attach it to your backpack in case of strong winds.

Accessories have been reduced to keep the bag light. Nevertheless, there are enough pockets to access your personal belongings without removing the bag from your back.
There are two zippered pockets on the waistband and 2 deep mesh pockets on the sides of the bag.
Finally, there's a mesh pocket on the front of the bag for a rain jacket or fleece, but with easy access.
