The NeoAir XLite mattress evolves and becomes the NeoAir XLite NXT. Quieter and more insulating, a rectangular version (Max) is now available for even greater comfort.
The famous Thermarest XLite mattress is also available in a Max version, a rectangular mattress offering greater comfort while retaining an ultra-light weight. This new mattress offers 83% less noise than its predecessor, as well as better R-Value (4.5 vs. 4.2) and thickness (7.6 cm vs. 6.4 cm). A feat that will delight all outdoor enthusiasts!
The R-Value is an indicator that measures the thermal insulation of a mattress. It's a standard norm common to all models, regardless of brand, and provides an objective basis for comparison. As mentioned above, the Thermarest XLite NXT air mattress has an R-Value of 4.5, which means it can sleep on snow-covered ground without getting cold. Perfect for year-round bivouacs.
The Thermarest NeoAir XLite NXT Max inflatable mattress is :
- Includes pump bag, storage bag and repair kit
- Quick and easy inflation thanks to the WingLock™ valve
- An ultralight mattress ideal for hiking
Note: if you plan to sleep outdoors in extreme temperatures, we recommend upgrading to a more insulating model, the Thermarest XTherm NXT Max.

Order carefully packaged. Top quality. I recommend without reservation. (Translated review)
I chose it because of its rectangular size and width. I put it in my 2-person tent with another identical mattress (check the tent dimensions anyway). (Translated review)
First bivouacs, first camping, after many years without sport due to back problems. Yes, it's expensive, depending on the thickness of your wallet. But it's worth it. This quieter version works perfectly. It makes virtually no noise, even when moving at night. Easy to inflate with its "pump-sac" it takes just a minute to inflate in its widest and largest size. The small deflation valve is handy for adjusting the "softness" of the mattress once inflated. You don't feel the ground or the cold, but it's better to have a little pillow under your head if you like the ftal position.easy to store, very easy to fold, easy to deflate. (And with the fatigue of hiking, we often store our items less well than when we left in top shape ^^). I don't have any experience of other mattresses, but I study a lot of products on the Internet, and it's really excellent! For tall people like me, be careful when choosing your tent, because the length of the tent, plus the thickness of the mattress, can cause your feet to touch the wall of the tent. (I'm 1m90 tall, my tent is 2m10) it's just right...The texture of the fabric gives a real feeling of resistance, it makes me want to test it under the stars.we'll have to see how it holds up over time, but I'm perfectly satisfied!
