MSR Access 2 Tent - 2 people

Description

The MSR Access 2 is a tent designed for winter outdoor activities such as ski touring or mid-mountain mountaineering. It is based on three essential elements: lightness, warmth and sturdiness. As far as lightness is concerned, the MSR Access 2 tent is made from ultra-light technical materials. The rain fly is made of 20 denier Ripstop nylon, and the floor of 40 denier Ripstop nylon. Unlike mountaineering tents, which typically weigh over 2000 g, this 1860 g model is perfect for reducing the weight of your backpack.
In terms of robustness, the Access 2's center-supported frame enables it to withstand the weight of snow falling on the canvas overnight, as well as high winds. In fact, the unique cross hoop is made of Easton® Syclone™, a composite material derived from the aerospace industry offering greater flexibility as well as improved breaking strength. As a result, during storms, the hoop will tend to bend rather than break.

Finally, the Access 2 tent features a spacious interior, two doors and two apses. Each adventurer has his own space for his equipment and can leave the tent without disturbing his companion. Storage spaces are also included.
