Maurten Gel 100 is an energy gel whose fame soared after Eliud Kipchoge was spotted using it during his world record time at the Berlin Marathon. The Kenyan crossed the finish line in 2 hours 1 minutes and 39 seconds.
Popular with amateur and professional athletes alike, Maurten Gel 100 is based on hydrogel technology. This enables carbohydrates to be easily transported from the stomach to the intestine, where they are then absorbed along with water and salt.
